New Ribbon Update

Flower Power:
This may have come out before today but there is a new ribbon to try and achieve. It's called Flower Power (hence the title) and, well, you harvest/plant flowers. If you need to know any more information on it; it's pretty self explanitory. Feel free to ask me on Facebook.

For information on profits of the flowers check out the post 2 before this one.

Basics of Harvesting Crops

We're students, right? That means we have studying for quizzes to get to, homework to finish, sports, everything, and anything! Here's a calculation of different crops, how much they cost (plowing and for the actual seeds themselves), experience points gained, suggested planting times (based on when a THS student is at home), and ofcourse, the profits.

name of seed/ time it takes / profit (amount you earn for selling it minus the plowing and the cost of the seed; per plot/ per day) / XP gained (not with crop mastery) / (suggested) planting time(s) / profit (per plot/ per day based on the suggestedplanting times)

PD=per day
PEP=per each planting
For anything that says something absurd like, "Blah blah blah!" means you can plant that seed any time of the day because it takes a day or more to harvest. I was lazy to type the same boring, "plant anytime you want" over and over again.

Feel free to click on the image to enlarge it to its maximum size and clarity. I realize this image makes it blurry. (It should let you; if not then it's being a poop.)
*Certain seeds may not be available to you due to the level you are at.
Personally, I believe that grapes are the best buy since it's not under a strict time schedule. Sunflowers are 2nd up though. Anything below those 2 I'd have to say that rice is a fair bet.

Special thanks to Trevor for providing information on higher crop levels. Currently, as of 10-15-09, he is at a high level of 30.

Basics of Animals

General Info:
There are 3 categories of animals. Ones that you can buy, ones that you adopt, and ones given through gifting. We'll get into adopting in another post.

Gray means that the animal is no longer available to give, buy, or adopt.

1. Buyable Animals:
-Chicken
-Regular Non-Chocolate or Strawberry Cows
-Regular White Sheep

A snapshot showing prices and harvesting times aswell as the sell price
2. Adoptable:
-Black Sheep
-Ugly Ducklings (transform into swans)
-Chocolate Cows
-Strawberry Cows
-Normal Cows

3. Giftable:
-Elephants (for a limited time farmers were able to give this animal during the carnival)

-Horses
-Goats
-Rabbits
-Pigs

Harvesting Animals:
Animals take time to harvest. When they were ready for harvesting they used to be outlined in pink. Now, they have upside down hot pink and pink teardrops above them. All you have to do is click on the teardrop or animal and a scrolldown should pop up. It will give you the option

Here you see 3 swans and a duck ready for harvest.
